CELESTIAL ALLOYS – MATERIAL DIALOGUES IN TEN VOICES

During Design Week Mexico, Marion Friedmann Gallery presents a special group exhibition withten of its staple artists, hosted within the vibrant atmosphere of Mexico City’s boutique guest
house, Maison Celeste.
In the vaulted souterrain, a star-shaped octagon plan opens into orbiting chambers. This mysticalarchitecture of the 1900s becomes both stage and constellation for the works. Across furniture,
lighting, sculpture, and jewelry, the show unfolds a material universe of metals, glass, stone, gems, gold, silver and polished plastics.
The exhibition resonates with the patina of the walls, the geometry of the space, and the spirit of collaboration that underpins this alloy between Maison Celeste and Marion Friedmann Galle.
